A Sunset-Hike Inspired Nursery

Bringing My Dream Nursery to Life

Designing our baby girl’s nursery has been one of my favorite creative projects — I want the space to feel earthy, cozy, and full of natural beauty. This moodboard captures exactly that: soft floral wallpaper, natural wood tones, woven details, and layers of warm texture that bring a sense of calm and comfort.

The theme for our nursery is inspired by my love for sunset hikes - soft pink and blue hues mixed with botanical and floral motifs. Every element was chosen to create a nurturing space that feels grounded yet full of whimsy.

I’ve been especially inspired by Nestig’s collection of beautiful, sustainably made furniture and decor. Their handcrafted cribs, dressers, and textiles are designed to grow with your little one — thoughtfully made, responsibly sourced, and effortlessly stylish. The natural Explorer Shelf in this moodboard is one of my favorite pieces; it perfectly complements the organic feel I’m dreaming up with plenty of storage.
